Start Low

You can bid along the way if you want, but even if you do not, it is essential that you keep an eye on what is going on. This way you will know what other bidders are thinking as well as the way that the auction is moving.
Get the Last Bid
Since you will be able to see when an eBay auction ends, you will want to be at your computer at this time. If you really want a car you will need to make sure that you get in the last bid before the auction closes. While this may seem difficult, as long as you are prepared you should be able to win. Make sure that you have everything set up, and with about 20 to 30 seconds left you can place your final bid. If somebody promptly beats you, you may have one last crack at upping them before the final second expires.
