Buying a Car

The majority of people who are in the market for a car either finance the purchase or pay cash for it. The reason for this is that when you buy a car you will have the chance to pay it off over time, and in the end eventually own it outright. While this may not appeal to you, most people look forward to the day when they can own a great car without having to pay for it each month. Additionally, when you buy a car there are not limitations that you must follow. When you lease, this is not the case.

Leasing a Car

The main reason to lease a car is if you are the type who likes to have a new ride every few years. When you lease you will only have to pay for the amount of the car that you use, and then you can get rid of it when your contract expires. So again, if you like to get a new car every so often leasing is a great idea. Additionally, you can usually get lower payments on your car when you opt for a lease.

On the downside of things, leasing a car comes with many stipulations. For example, you will only be able to drive it a certain amount of miles each year. As you can imagine, if you drive a lot a lease is not a good idea. For each mile that you go over the allotment you will have to pay a fee.
